Don't believe everything you read in the Guardian.

They have themselves in a very weird place on housing.

Of things not to believe I would in particular warn of the idea there are loads of empty luxury flats owned by evil foreigners.

Empty homes are at historic low (in London 0.6% of stock) and whilst vacancy in new homes bought by overseas investors is thought to be slightly higher (1%) that is still very low.
