oh ffs again

I must have the same device as Proth!

right, start again.

advice depends on whether you/he are individuals or companies, and value of debt. eg a sub £5k stat demand against an individual is pointless unless they are very easily bullied and do not have access to Google.

At a guess we're talking a low value claim so you want Moneyclaimonline. MCOL is dead simple to use, cheap and efficient. Easily the best way of handling it short of getting MIKEWALKER to drop round with a baseball bat. There will be pre-action letters to cover off which will vary depending on status of the debtor, but the MCOL website ought to step you through what you need to do.

If you want to bounce any of the legal stuff off me, then drop a note to cwcwotb at gmail.

MCOL really is dead simple so you won't need to waste money on a solicitor, unless we are talking a chunky debt and there's something less than straightforward about the backstory that you haven't shared (or it's a very chunky debt)

Obviously keep all copies of correspondence, invoices, chasers, records of work performed etc, and make a record of any calls (with as much of a transcript as you can, as soon after the call as you can, ie get scribbling everything down this evening if you haven't already)
