Every transfer window I hold out hope

Every transfer window I hold out hope we will sign the player/players we really need and I always end up feeling mugged off.....why do I still hold out hope this window will be any different??? If we get a striker I have a feeling it's going to be a real let down.

Why we can't just sign a couple of strikers from league 1 maybe.....just pick the top 2 striker ffs it's not rocket science to get Someone in!!! Is it?
