It can be difficult to keep a player who wants to go. If they are going to go in summer we can make more selling now and save wages too.
I don’t believe that Olivera is suddenly going to fire us into the playoffs so any improvement is going to come from new players anyway. Likewise I’m not sure how important Klose is. His distribution is often suspect and I’m not sure he is worth the extra money he gets paid.
On Olivera: I kind of agree in that he actually works quite hard during games. However he doesn’t suit our system and doesn’t seem a “team player”. Also there was the incident in the first match and I understand that he is rarely in Norwich. That all adds up to a player who isn’t settled and isn’t likely to hang around. He has only ever scored more than 10 league goals once in his career which was last year when he got 11, so has never been a prolific frontman either.
