Yep and in the late 80s early 90s a good proportion of clubs

Had players that we had sold for a profit. That was something I was quite proud of (not the profit but other teams qanted our players). So the set up was obviously good for that time....then we got relegated as the premier league money took off and the club made some very bad decisions.
