Sentence depends on a number of factors

As pointed out above the sentencing guidelines are fairly wide ranging and what punishment you receive depends on various mitigating factors. For example, if there is “considerable fear to others”, you use “objects or weapons” or there is serious injury, then it would be tried at Crown Court and you could be sent to prison for a stretch. If, on the other hand, there was a certain level of provocation, you’re not the instigator and/or you fully cooperate with police, show remorse etc then the sentence is a lot lighter - fines, community service etc.

Unless he gets sent to crown court following the magistrates hearing, he’ll most likely be told off for failing to live up to his “role model” status, get a heavy fine and community service. That said, if he did break that idiot’s jaw then he could be looking a a heavier sentence.

Remember, all we have seen is the video posted by the Scum, which doesn’t tell the whole story. We don’t know what happened before and after, what the two local douchebags were up to, whether he started on them or vice versa. His statement suggests thete’s More to it than was reported but we’ll see. Either way, he’s an idiot for going out boozing in the one bit of Bristol full of clubs and bars that attract utter dickheads. Shit music, s**t people!
