Their income steam etc. and their approach are globally rather than locally focused.
Pretty much certain at least 95% of the 'new' football fans (i.e. market) in places like the US, Asia etc. that are driving the financial growth of the game support one of those teams, not the Stokes, Wolfsburgs, Celta Vigos of this world...
