Sad news
Suffered terrible racist abuse as a young player. I recall being at Upton Park in the seventies and seeing bananas being throw at him and his fellow black West Bromwich teammates.
Scores that 'goal of the season' against city in 1982. I remember being behind the goal at the Hawthorns and seeing that one fly in.
