Trying to be rational

You hope that all your players want to stay, particularly the better performers, but sometimes life isn't so simple, as the sale of Alex Pritchard has proved. I have now come round to the line of thinking that if they want to go, let them go! Get good money for them and spend it quickly and wisely. I just hope that the Club is not suddenly forced to replace James Maddison however - I am not convinced that Delia and Michael would know how best to allocate a sudden windfall of £25m or so to the betterment of the Club!
