I don't think any of them have contributed anything that our youth team players

couldn't have done to the same, or nearly as high a standard. With the added bonus that the youngsters would essentially be free (since we're paying them anyway), would be getting valuable experience and would be much more likely to improve as players then these journeymen.

The whole point of having Webber at the club, is to get the most out of the budget and master the transfer market. In that context, he's signed too many duds imo.
