I don’t think he’s ever been totally sold on Nelson, and he’d probably welcome the chance to get in a striker he thinks will work better in his system.

It’s common knowledge now, surely, that we have to shift the high earners who are still on probably bottom end Prem wages. We’re now a champ club with Champ income and no billionaire benefactor, so it’s blindingly obvious we’ll have to pay Champ wages.

All those years ago we only got Hucks because a local businessman paid some of his wages.
