Yeah I don't know. Seriously. I've thought about that, and paid a lot of attention to

Pritchard in the only two games I was able to see in the flesh (Brentford and Millwall). Still not sure. Pritchard is more tenacious at pressing than Wes, but still didn't seem completely on the same wavelength as the rest of the team yet, which was understandable. Quite a few wayward passes and unnecessarily giving the ball away, and too often Maddison and Pritchard occupied the same space.

But in general I really can't say. I also had the feeling that Pritchard and Maddison too often ended up trying to occupy the same space and ended up cancelling each other out. I think Wes is a little more adaptable that way although his problem is that maybe he drifts out of the game when not in the #10 position.

I really think what has improved us a bit is having Trybull and Tettey back, Lewis at left back, and the central defenders settling into a fairly solid situation where it seems that any two of Klose, Zimmerman and Hanley (or indeed all three of them) are gelling far better than any central defenders we've had since the early Lambert era.

However, we've also played some right f**king stinkers in the period since Pritchard was back too.
