your mate must have been joking

Brennen was s**t as usual yesterday. He played Dyer onside for the goal after all, and I can't remember him making a successful challenge all match. The one thing of note he did was to put a decent cross in which Kwami (?) Jones headed just wide and if it had been on target probably would've beaten Given.

Personally I'll never forgive Jim Brennen for 2.5 years of abject performances. I know he was played out of position a fair bit, but I would've liked to see some passion from him. For that reason, and the fact he did virtually bugger all while he was with us, I will always hold him in utter contempt. After all - he was present in virtually all of our 'no-shows' this season.
