Wrath of the Barclay player departures can only fall in to one of three categories.

1) A player integral to our chances of success, the sale of whom indicates a clear lack of ambition, plus he's gone on the cheap, we can't negotiate, we are s**t and we are mugs.

2) A player who whilst not performing well enough to merit a regular starting place has not been allowed to prosper because of poor management and coaching and who will now go on to be a great success elsewhere (this will be pointed out each time he is seen in the vague vicinity of a goal during brief highlights on Football on 5). By the way we are s**t and we are mugs

3) A complete waste of money, glad to be shot of him - however we should never have bought him in the first place and we should have known that he would be terrible before we bought him as absolutely no-one pointed out at the time. Did I mention that we are s**t and we are mugs?
