To be fair, I'm as pissed off as anyone with the situation. This and the Murphy sale are particularly depressing as it feels like we've hardly seen them develop. At least when Sutton or Fox got sold, we'd had quite a few seasons of enjoying them play for us.

What I don't get is the way some fans take an almost wilfully obtuse attitude towards the nuances of how modern transfers work.
