Yeah i was a maaive Verve fan too

His solo albums have been nothing but a disappontment, although th new one is alot better. However, he did write Urban Hymns pretty much on his own. Although even that album misses the influence of Nick McCabe whose songwriting and guitar work on A Northern Soul and Storm In Heaven is genius.
