I disagree. Funding is important but the system is far more important. I am pretty

confident (without being able to offer any reasoning other than my recent observations of the system) that even the NHS could be far far more efficient with the funding it is receiving. The amount of f**king waste calls I had to make just to get a prescription for protein shakes correct, or to organise carers, or even to get the bloody meds right was absolutely shocking. And there were far worse examples than that.

Yes, the funding is low but it can be spent so much more efficiently. The funding is higher outside of the UK because of the model. If you read my post and the link you posted, you'll see that the figures are for spending on public AND private, so it includes the figures I was mentioning.
