I agree that transfers don’t always work out

but the difference is that yours were all cheap ‘mistakes’ (even if they were that).

Jarvis, Naismith, Lafferty, Ricky, were all mistakes that had significant resource implications.

Maybe you can’t make a cheap mistake when you get to the prem?
