I don’t know I’d imagine it’s his free schools work

There are 15 board members all from different backgrounds and with different expertise.

Do they get paid much? I can’t inagine so for sitting on a board like this - I’d imagine they will meet a few times a year.

Just saying there has not been any comment on any other board appointment but this one obviously has a political angle certain people are looking to exploit. That’s not to say I agree with certain things he has said in the past but I don’t see why the preclude him from sitting on the board of an organisation which is charged primarily with improving competition in the university sector and ensuring students receive value for money.
