His hold up play and decision making is poor to be honest.

He tries to hold the ball up on the halfway line and ends up giving the ball away or just getting tackled. When he picks the ball up that deep he should be turning and running at the defence, trying to cause problems. Hold the ball up when you’re high up the pitch and have no options to pass or turn and go.

It’s really basic stuff that he just doesn’t do well enough. For me it’s the difference why he’s not a top level player. Poor decision making.
