I read it as that's what he does on game day, not all the time

especially when he then talks about scoring in a practice game and not celebrating because he was so focused on the play. Hard to do that training on your own.

I've read a few articles about him "failing to break into the team". He looked like he would play during pre-season, then got injured. It's hard to force your way in if you're injured.

I think he may well move on, but I haven't seen one of these sensationalist articles that made it sound like he was less than professional or involved, just not deemed ready to be selected yet by the coach. If he'd played yesterday instead of Wes, for example, how would that have gone down? (Hindsight says he would have easily replaced Marley, but there we go).
