And don’t think we or the club should be abandoning that aspiration, particularly when it comes to the January window. I really do not want to see us selling any top players in the name of “rebuilding” for next season.

There are not many good teams in this league and an 11 point gap with half a season still to play is definitely closeable if we can get some momentum going and keep key players fit.
