We are top of the table of shots taken outside the penalty area, but...

... near the bottom of the table of shots inside the goal (6 yard) area. Wolves, for example, have a nice balance. We are also second in the table for shots per game (behind Brentford) but way down for shots on target. Oliveira has more shots per game on average than all other players in the league, apparently.

Basically, the chances we're creating either aren't being taken or they're not good enough, according to the data. What you blame that on is up to you and open to interpretation.
