A) An investor may spend money "buying the club" but that money would be to buy shares off existing shareholders (unless Delia was particularly generous and did a new share issue).

B) An investor is like a bank. They would secure new investment against assets.

C) Planning permission would be easy to get on the stadium site for housing. It isn't green-belt land.
