Worst crowd I can remember at Carrow road.

Sorry but this was the first game ever I left (slightly) before the final whistle. Not because of what I saw on the field but because of the reaction of the fans. Ok the “we should have gone Christmas shopping” echoing the Brentford chant made me laugh a bit but the booing of individual mistakes the songs at the end, the criticism of every single player other than Jamal Lewis, and abuse shouted at some of our players was something at a level I cannot remember at Carrow road. And still we are mystified at why we play with fear at home and the results reflect that. I honestly don’t know why it’s generally accepted that the players aren’t giving their all or look tired. Pinto, Oli (yes, Oli!), Watkins, Pritchard, Reed amongst others were busting a gut for much of the game. If anything Maddison was the one throwing himself on the ground and staying there whilst (for example) Pritchard was trying to take a quick free kick. We looked scared.

Time to set an example people. Improvement starts with ourselves. Get behind the team. Do your boos at the end if you must. It doesn’t matter how many millions you earn. You’re still human and still will eventually be affected by your own fans booing and singing that you’re s**t.

PS. If we want to score more goals we need to find a way to get around the opposition defending in a line at the edge of their penalty area. We resorted to some lovely passing around the edge of the box, and then getting caught offside or putting in a cross to a bunch of shortish players.
