Back from the game - Shit in a sock!

Writing on the cards as early as 2nd minute when they hit the post. We flattered to deceive briefly but first half was poorest I’ve witnessed this season.

Second half saw some marginal improvement but never really looked like we would get back in it and Brentford looked dangerous dry time they broke with pace and determination.

Nelson’s goal was well taken but meant nothing in a dreadfully poor display.

On tonight’s showing Madders and Pritch can’t be in the same team - too similar and they both slow down the attack. Can’t play two no 10s like that as there is no penetration and no 3rd man running.

Personally I like the style we’re attempting to play but I don’t think the players are good enough at it yet and that’s why it ends up petering out.

Crowd naturally seething and can’t blame the backlash. Can’t see too much changing though, no money!

Not a great night before Christmas... plus I got a parking ticket up Lakenham... FFS!!!
