It isn't Delias fault

She doesn't choose the manager, nor sign players, nor coach the squad, nor select the team etc.

If an investor bought the club then they would loan money secured against the value of the stadium. If the gamble doesn't work then they own the stadium and the club would pay to rent it from them.

'Investors' are like bankers; they make their money from the club being in debt to them. They will keep loaning money to the club for so long as the club can pay them back. They care about making money for themselves not about how well the team does.
