Players (apparently) talking to the press may have their own agendas. Look at Sunderland for example who have known cultural issues through the playing squad that has led to a number of managerial changes.
Those stories are hard to comment on or give credence to because nobody knows who it was and what their agenda may be.
Sure it doesn't look good on the pitch at the moment but you can't really take those stories from the media and put 2+2 together without knowing the detail behind where they came from. It's pure speculation which really doesn't help anyone in our current form.
