I think you and that person are missing the point

The whole point being that it’s not being in the EU that brings all those securities. All the countries don’t stick to merely the legislative requirements. So it’s not that they are are in the EU that causes them to have better standards. The stats just show that to those saying we should stay in for better labour laws...it’s a load of bollocks as the EU recommendations are way lower than our own
