but in the UK both tend to need to attract some of the middle ground to get enough votes to get into power.
A vote for the Tories is essentially for cuts to public services hurting the most vulnerable, cuts to workers rights, increase VAT, high student fees, increased cost of housing, lower standards of products & services, not caring about the environment etc. all in the name of making as much money as possible milking the general public in rip-off Britain.
Labour under Corbyn is the opposite.
