Looks to me like a little bit of history repeating

Good start fuelled by the confidence of getting promoted and winning a lot and feeling like a good team. Plus being a little bit of an unknown quantity.

Then the premier league analysts work out how to stop you and pinpoint your weaknesss. Small squad limits your options so you struggle with coming you with anything new. And as the results turn, confidence slips away and the struggle for goals begins.

Hoots instinct is then to go into turtle mode, pull his head in and defend deep and in numbers to stop leaking goals in the hope on nicking something. Which given the quality that there is in this Barclays premier league is very difficult to pull off.

The slow steady slip into Hoots oblivion has begun.
