Reckon Spurs may buy him in Jan and loan him back to us for rest of season

I read they were looking for young English players to sign in January and would loan them back for rest of season. Spurs would then have all summer ahead to assess and integrate them.
Reckon Maddison would be very happy staying and playing here until end of season.
Tottenham were supposed to be interested in signing him when we bought him from Coventry.
