Agree with Worz, been involved with crypto's for a little while.

Sort of anti establishment currency for want of a better analogy. Not tied to any fiat currency or no control by governments hence the bad press by all and sundry in high places. Was used initially for a lot of naughty stuff as was pretty untraceable but not anymore though there are still a few like Monero and Dark coin which are harder to trace. The thing behind crypto's called blockchain is probably more important overall. Interesting if you like the tekky kind of stuff.
