I'm banned from making chicken stock with the carcass of the Sunday rust

because it fills every cubic inch of the house with the aroma of simmered fowl bones. I'm not opposed to it myself, but I understand about making compromises for the benefit of matrimonial harmony.

And no good homemade chicken stock = no homemade chicken soup
