nah, this ain't down to any sort of misreporting of anything

this is all just politicians playing the game and playing it out in the media to their own ends

and in this case it isn't a criticism from me

everyone needs to make concessions but nobody can be seen to be making them

they all know the best scenario is the 'do nothing' and keep everything exactly as it is - but as cancelling brexit would be too embarrassing for this government, everyone's got their s**t to polish as best they can manage
