Yes you can. Back in the day, it was very dangerous to work in a match factory.

You could get something called 'phossy jaw' which was not very nice. You also had to work long hours for rubbish pay. Then someone got sacked for no good reason and the girls (mostly young teenagers) and women went on strike. Long story short, the management caved.

It was one of the first successful strike actions in this country and had an influence on future unionism. Go girls!
