... low wages, under employment & austerity. It’s the classic ‘dead cat’ in an argument - find scapegoats & diversions to protect their own positions from being questioned. The notion that the likes of Dominic Cummings, Boris Johnson, Michael Gove, Nigel Farage, Rupert Murdoch, Jacob Rees Mogg et al have the best interests of the low paid, disabled and downtrodden masses in their hearts is risible....... they certainly aren’t trying to get by on £14k a year, nor are they on a zero hour contract. Look to the good old US of A to see the kind of society they all want to see - somewhere where universal healthcare is seen as a communist plot, and anything that gets in the way of making money is portrayed as a fundamental threat to freedom. The EU may not be perfect, but it sure beats the alternatives. I’d rather we worked inside it to improve it than waste all the time & resources that are being put into leaving it and sorting out alternative frameworks.......

........ and I think it’s going a bit far to get an anti -EU strop on, just because our own German experiment doesn’t seem to be going too well at the moment 😉
