Ok fair enough. Whatever the style etc we need an experienced

Centre midfielder, an O'Neill or better still a Scott Parker type to just lead that midfield, hold when it needs holding, set the tempo, direct the play.
We look so aimless all the time, the short sharp passing triangles down the left and into Wes are but a distant memory.
