The catch is yourr paying c£470 for the phone

No idea if that is competitive or not - seems to be based on a very quickle google.

That's based on a 12month sim only deal being £9pcm, but in 12 months a comparable deal might be even cheaper so may be fairer to assume you're paying 500-550 for the phone.

I tend to buy older model handsets and sim only deals, as its better value but ymmv.
