Attacking the Barclay

An old favourite debating point of mine......

Why the f**k do we attack the Barclay first half from choice. The argument that its better for Green to defend the Barclay 2nd half because of the light is bollocks, Its far worse as the suns lower.

So whats the reason? Anyone know? When i was a kid we ALWAYS attacked the Barclay 2nd half for obvious reasons, now we give the opposition the advantage of playing towards their own fans at the end of the game

I cannot fathom the reason.... somebody enlighten me please?
