You being a little hysterical to suggest that this compares with legislation that may limit reasonable behaviour.

I admire your force but I think it is misplaced here. Smoking has its own set of rules, its own idiosynchratic place in society, and restricting it does NOT suggest a wider movement to restrict liberty.
