bar the last five minutes Norwich were woeful. We were o n the backfoot against a very poor Brighton side.
As to Worthington jesturing towards the snakepit - what the hell is that about? 2-0 up against one of the worst sides in the league - hardly a reason to celebrate is it? Trouble is Nigel, if you'd have demonstrated as much passion in the past people wouldn't be on your case so much. Nice to know you are feeling the pressure though. Me and the minority ( as quoted by Roger Mumby tonight on Radio Norfolk) won't rest until you're out of our club. Here are my ratings for tonight if anyone is interested:
Green 6 - did everything you'd expecte
Fleming 6 - decent at right back. Solid, don't need to hide behind the sofa as when Colin is involved in play
Drury 7 - good effort
Doherty - 7 good effort
Rehman 5 - looked very edgy. 2 weeks up at Colney is working its magic already.
Johansson 6 - one good break in the first half, totally anonymous thereafter
Huckerby 7 - looked dangerous. Looked interested which is as important as anything else for him these days.
Safri 6 - safe and classy on occassion. Anyone else see Worthington berate him for that excellent "drag back" that left their player standing in the 2nd half?
Hughes 2 - the bloke is inept. Turns controlling a 10 yard pass into an art form. How on earth did we end up with him? Of Reading's midfield I'd never heard of him before. Everyone else has heard of Sidwell and Harper - woudl quite fancy them here etc. - Hughes? Who? No wonder the official fee has never been released...
Earnshaw 7 - if only for a couple of great finishes
Thorne 2.5 - better than Hughes. Let's get really worried if this is the dream ticket up front. The dream double act in only the manner that Burke and Hare were for human biologists
Subs: Mckenzie is shed loads better than Thorne. McVeigh adds composure. Robinson replaced the clearly injured Safri and did little of note.
