Mike Channon, Come ON!!!

Fondly remember the Radio Norfolk coverage of the "aftermath" of the league cup win over Ipswich in 1985, they were in the dressing room getting interviews and just before Channon got to the mike you heard him say, loudly, and in his thick Hampshire accent "...you ol' bas-raaaard Hartford..." to Asa-realising his comments had gone out live he said "...oh dear, I am sorry everyone..." amid much laughter.

Great seeing his goals at Carrow Road and the windmill celebration, when we won the LC he took his son around the ground afterwards, looking as if he couldn't believe it. Still has very fond memories of Norwich and always speaks highly of us, describing us as "my lovely village team". Cheers Mike.
