I'm a discerning man, and The Simpsons is my favourite show.

Just about tops Brass Eye and The Office for me. Family Guy is quality but in many ways a cheap rip-off of The Simpsons IMO.

Honestly, give it a try - find the episode where Homer gets a gun to protect his family after a soccer riot engulfs the town, or where Bart joins the Junior Campers, or where Homer meets Frank Grimes - they really are staggeringly funny.

I wouldn't bother with Star Wars, though - the films really aren't anything special and Star Wars obsessives are c**ts.
