I just don't think it'd be enjoyable or satisfying, ultimately.

A good friend of mine - a life-long Chelsea fan who was at the play-off game that relegated them in 1988-1989, for example - has defected to Brighton & Hove Albion this season. He goes to nearly every game at the Withdean Stadium, and I applaud him for doing it.

Watching football isn't just about enjoying success at any price. I greatly enjoyed the successes brought to us by Stringer, Walker and Worthington, but the kind of success Chelsea have would just feel, as Small (or was it DDiM) said, hollow.
