However, given the evidence, I think the 3 points or out is pretty plausible too.

They also say they listen to the fans. I also think they are - you can't afford to keep your customer base unhappy for so long (they'll have learnt that from the Chase days)

We know that certain figures at the club aren't happy with how things are.

I think there's an ultimatum been given or at least decided at board level. Everyone, included Delia and the other members of the board, has a point at which they say enough is enough, and it's then a matter for the board to make a joint decision in the best interests of the club.

And this has to be done without the emotive baggage of being a fan.

Given, however, the integrity and decency of the club, and it's image for that matter, they're not going to announce to all and sundry what that is. How motivated do you think McLeish feels to do well for Rangers ?
