All I'm looking at is the next game. I want us to win. End of story. If we lose, then the manager comes in for stick. And if that defeat means he loses his job, then so be it - but I don't want us to lose. I want us to win.
Of course, looking at the bigger picture, you could argue that even if we win, we're more than likely going to lose the next game with Worthy in charge. Maybe you're right. But I'll still want us to win. Who's to say that Worthington won't suddenly find the right formula and wins the last 14 games of this season (and the 3 play off games!). Yes - I know very very unlikely - but the point is, why write something off. Anything could happen. The current trend suggests disaster, but over the historic trend it suggests success. Which will be right? Who can say. The season is over as Ben says - it probably is with all likelihood - so why sack him now? Sack him at the end of the season. Then we don't have to have the whole - "we must lose the next game so he can be sacked". I'd rather we won some games before the end of the season so I could have some happy weekends for a change.
I mean - does it matter who the manager is if we win every week? You could be manager for all I care if we win week in week out. However, Worthington is our manager at the moment, but I still want us to win.
