I understand what you are saying. I think it's gone in reverse though
Before worthington, hamilton was sacked after 35 games in charge, he wasn't even given the "judge him at the end of the season" s**t that worthy is allowed
Hamilton showed that like managers before him, they weren't gonna get a lot of money to spend, and if they weren't successful, they'd be out of the door within a season or two, or whenever the fans spit their dummy out
Because of what has gone on in the past, that is why they are like this, they feel like they shouldn't sack anyone ever again
It is so blatant that Worthy should just hand the reigns to someone with a fresh approach, it worked for Liverpool, it even worked for Houllier and Lyon
Instead a good potential situation is being ruined
