sorry, hit wrong key, v cold hands, snowing outside!!!
At the height of the Chase protests, there were never ten thousand, but it won't take that sort of number. While some of us protest in person, others will be bombarding the club with letters, emails, getting stories in the press (re the mugs and tee shirts on sale in the city), it's bound to be a long process and the pressure has to be kept up.
It's interesting to see the fan organisations coming out and saying what they are. NCISA, although working inside the club on various initiatives, have come out with a strong message, and did so before Christmas, while, I concede the Captials are still not totally sure....
Fan pressure tells in the end. It's just a question of whether the team improve enough for this to die down, or whether the results stay the same and enough people finally realise they can't just go home and moan and expect change. Sometimes we have to go out and do it for ourselves.
