Ten years ago I would've been the same. I was yelling most weekends how Gary Megson should be sacked. Had I been chairman during 1997 - 1999 Mike Walker wouldn't have lasted two seasons. And even Martin O'Neil was walking a tight rope away at Bradford in the 3rd round of the League Cup with the score 3-2 to Bradford in the 85th minute after Robert Fleck had just missed a penalty (we went on to win 5-3 in extra time).
I don't know - I think age has mellowed me out. I see the failings of a whole team of people now, rather than that of individuals, and I'm willing to allow people time to rectify the problems. Is it an age thing? Who knows.
